    Our show-calling tool

    LiveMultiCam Pilot

We developed our own show-calling software. During the performance it follows the score shot by shot: it announces the next shot in each camera operator’s headset, lights the tally lights, controls the vision mixer and can drive the lighting.

The direction is prepared like a stage production, and stays precise even with 7 cameras.

    The set-up

    Every camera has its role

A wide shot doesn’t tell the story of a show. We combine cameras with different purposes to follow a face, sweep over the stage or show the audience.

7.5 m crane with URSA camera, deployed in front of an outdoor festival stageCAM · 7.5 m crane

    The crane

    URSA · x8 broadcast zoom

A 7.5 m crane with a remote head: sweeping moves above the audience, from the wide view to the close-up.

    The heavy camera

    Angénieux 62x telephoto lens

Positioned at the back of the hall, it picks out a face on stage without ever disturbing the audience. It is the camera of close-ups and emotion.

Camera operators in headsets behind URSA Broadcast cameras, in the middle of the audienceCAM · remote controls

    The broadcast cameras

    3 Fujinon ZA17 · Canon HD KJ16 · Canon HJ22 HD

URSA Broadcast cameras with remote lens controls: the operator adjusts zoom and focus from the handles, eye on the frame, just like in a TV studio.

    The remote cameras

    Blackmagic Micro Studio 4K

Discreet, they go where a camera operator can’t: in the wings, on the ceiling, above the orchestra. They are controlled from the control room.

    The live drone

    Transmission up to 2 km

For festivals and outdoor events: aerial views sent live to the control room, with a range of 2 km.
